Green Theatre Company this summer. |

When Hermia and Lysander are denied their love for each other it seems all they can do is run away, but Helena and Demetrius have other ideas and follow them into the woods. Meanwhile in the woods the King and Queen of the Fairies are once again full of venom for each other while nearby a group of locals are rehearsing a play for the King. This intertwined with Puck's misadventures involving a magical flower love potion sets the scene for a magical play performed on stage in the timeless setting of a wood with an old overgrown temple and a "live" pool. As with any magical wooded setting you should expect the unexpected, what the audience sees when first entering the theatre will not be as it ends A total of 16 cast members brought this play to life at the Green where seeing the welcome return of many familiar faces together with several new ones including some from the Kingston Community Play "Don Juan in Kingston" See some pictures from the play |
